Joe is a Zimbabwean who joined us in 2002. He did his first years of formation in Zambia, novitiate in Ghana, and then studied Social Ministry and Theology in Kenya. During that time he worked with a number of NGOs, orphanages and as a deacon in Kibera slum. During his pastoral year in Zimbabwe he enjoyed working with university students in Bulawayo.
Joe was ordained as a priest in September 2013. His mission assignment is Zimbabwe. He worked in our parish in Mubayira, studied Bible in the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome and was a director of the ILizwi Biblical Centre in Plumtree.
He loves serving all those who seek to deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith and working for social transformation. Right now he is studying in Kenya.
Support Joe
by yourPray for the missionaries and their efforts. Your spiritual support is the most important one. The work of missionaries is being blessed and the hearts of people are opening for the Gospel, as you pray:
Heavenly Father,
you sent your Son, the Divine Word,
into the world as a missionary
to save every person.
Before he ascended into heaven,
he commissioned his Church
to go out and spread the Good News.
Bless Joe
who have answered
your call to be a missionary.
Grant him the light, strength,
and courage of the Holy Spirit
to win people for Christ.
Amen.
Encourage Fr. Joe Ncube SVD with words of faith. Missionary work is difficult and missionaries may often feel discouraged. If you believe that their effort is valuable and you appreciate what they do, you should tell them. A few honest words may help a lot.
